Four of the five worst performing funds this week belong to the Pharma &amp; Healthcare sector. <strong>Gold and mining funds out-performed<\/strong>, with four of the five top performing funds this week from those sectors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reliance Capital invited Japan\u2019s Nippon Life Insurance to acquire up to 42.88% stake<\/strong> that Reliance has in <a href=\"https:\/\/kuvera.in\/explore\/funds\/reliance\" rel=\"noopener\">Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management (RNAM)<\/a>. If the deal goes through, Japan&#8217;s Nippon Life Insurance will hold 85.76% in the AMC. It already holds 42.88% in RNAM. Stock Price of RNAM closed on Friday at Rs 198.45, following a spike from lows of Rs 140 touched during early 2019.<\/p>\n<p>AMFI data shows that while <strong>SIP inflows have remained steady <\/strong>at Rs 8,022.33 crore in December &amp; Rs 8,063.67 crore in January, the number of SIP discontinuations in this fiscal has increased from 3.99 lakh in April to 5.36 lakh in December 2018. The net SIP registration has fallen 61% to 1.87 lakh.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kuvera.in\/explore\/funds\/kotak\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Kotak Mutual Fund<\/strong><\/a><strong> has requested SEBI\u2019s approval for Kotak International REIT Fund<\/strong>. This will be the first REIT Mutual Fund available to Indian investors. This open-ended fund of fund proposes to invest 95% of assets in units of SMAM ASIA REIT Sub Trust fund and\/or other similar overseas funds, and the balance to debt, money market instruments, or
