The Sensex and Nifty briefly crossed the 40,000 and 12,000 marks respectively on Thursday, 23 May 2019. The market regulator has allowed mutual funds to participate in all exchange-traded commodities derivatives (ETCDs) except the &#8216;sensitive commodities&#8217;. (Ex: agriculture)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kuvera.in\/explore\/funds\/reliance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reliance<\/a>\u00a0Capital has decided to exit the mutual fund space\u00a0<\/strong>by selling its 42.88% stake in Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management Ltd. (RNAM). Nippon Life would become the sole promoter of RNAM following its increase in stake in RNAM to 75%. Nippon Life currently holds 42.88% stake in RNAM. As per the <\/span><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.reliancecapital.co.in\/pdf\/MEDIA-RELEASE-23052019.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pres<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.reliancecapital.co.in\/pdf\/MEDIA-RELEASE-23052019.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">s<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.reliancecapital.co.in\/pdf\/MEDIA-RELEASE-23052019.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> release<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>by Reliance Capital<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the estimated sale proceeds of Rs 6,000 crores would be utilised in its entirety
