Mahindra Finance. The global financial services group would be picking up a 49% stake in <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kuvera.in\/explore\/funds\/mahindra\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mahindra AMC<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for $35 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Amidst global uncertainty, <strong>Gold had another good week with two of the\u00a0five top performing funds<\/strong> this week from this sector. As we have said earlier, gold funds delivered on their diversification benefit during the global financial crisis of 2008-2009. This move comes just ahead of the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the sidelines of the G20 meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We had a slew of AMC announcements this week:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1\/ <a href=\"https:\/\/kuvera.in\/explore\/funds\/hdfc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HDFC AMC<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\u00a0announced a liquidity arrangement<\/strong> for investors in certain fixed maturity plan (FMP) schemes. T<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">he AMC is making a provision of up to \u20b9500 crore to provide liquidity to the unitholders of FMPs that were affected by exposure to the non-convertible debentures of Essel group companies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>2\/ <a href=\"https:\/\/kuvera.in\/explore\/funds\/essel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Essel Mutual Fund<\/a> has <a href=\"https:\/\/mutualfund.esselfinance.com\/dnd.php?dndfile=pdfs\/Essel_Notice-cum-Addendum_19Jun2019.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced <\/a>the winding up of<a href=\"https:\/\/kuvera.in\/explore\/PLPL67-GR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Essel Short Term Fund<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with immediate effect, following its inability to maintain the minimum AUM criteria of Rs 20 crore at the end of its half-yearly rolling period.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>3\/ <a href=\"https:\/\/kuvera.in\/explore\/funds\/edelweiss\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Edelweiss Mutual Fund<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has approved the change in fundamental attributes of two schemes:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kuvera.in\/explore\/EDEID1-GR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Edelweiss Equity Savings Fund<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will henceforth include the provision to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edelweissmf.com\/Files\/downloads\/Notice-Cum-Addendum\/Notice-Cum-Addendum\/2019\/Jun\/Published\/Edelweiss-FAC_Equity_Savings_Fund_14Jun2019_17062019_031303_PM.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">write call options<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kuvera.in\/explore\/ENDG-GR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Edelweiss Multi-Asset Allocation Fund<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">renamed <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to Edelweiss Aggressive Hybrid Fund. The scheme will <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">change <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">from a Multi-Asset Fund to an Aggressive Hybrid Fund. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unitholders who do not wish to retain their holdings in the schemes can redeem their units without any exit load between 20th June and 19th July 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>4\/ <a href=\"https:\/\/kuvera.in\/explore\/funds\/motilal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Motilal Oswal<\/a> Mutual Fund has <\/strong><\/span><strong>announced <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>that no exit load would be charged for switches<\/strong> made from Regular to Direct plan of the same scheme
