Who Founded Adani Group And When?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Gautam Adani founded the Adani Group in 1988 as a commodity trading business. He is a first-generation entrepreneur who made the Adani Group one of India’s largest conglomerates. In 1993, Adani Enterprises was incorporated. of Adani Enterprises. Then, Adani Exports was also listed on the stock markets.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1998, Gautam Adani formed a partnership with the Gujarat Port Infrastructure Development Corporation in Mundra, Gujarat. He also established a joint venture named Adani Wilmar with Wilmar Trading. He ventured into the packaged edible oil market with the ‘Fortune’ brand.<\/span><\/p>\n

He entered into a partnership with Shanxi Corporation for coal supply in India in 2003. After drilling for coal in Gujarat in 2010, Adani Welspun emerged as one of India’s leading coal importers. They integrated into coal ministry operations, gaining access to over 3 billion tonnes of coal reserves.<\/span><\/p>\n

Later on, Adani Power Ltd. was established and he formed a partnership with the Japanese business group \u2018Kowa Company\u2019. He also collaborated with Posco to construct a rail line in Australia. He is responsible for the acquisition of Adani Infrastructure Pvt Ltd., the establishment of royalties agreements with State Governments and the announcement of plans for a container port in Malaysia amid protests in Australia.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2018, India’s first private UAV manufacturing facility was inaugurated in partnership with Elbit Systems under Adani Defence & Aerospace.<\/span><\/p>\n
