purposes but for us stock investments, the \u20b97 lakh threshold applies. it is worth checking the latest tcs rates before remitting.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" fsi<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">holding foreign stocks triggers reporting obligations. these are often overlooked.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"\">schedule fa.<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">\u00a0disclose all foreign assets held during the financial year\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">. this includes the us brokerage account and the shares held in it. the disclosure is required regardless of the value. regardless of whether any income was
