SIP inflows jumped 20% on Y-o-Y basis to hit an all - time high of Rs 13,856 crore in January 2023 compared to inflows of Rs 11,517 crore in January 2022.Total number of SIP folios stood at 6.22 crore in January 2022.
Open ended equity mutual funds witnessed inflows of Rs 12,546 crore in January 2023. The net Asset Under Management (AUM) of the Mutual Fund industry stood at Rs 40.50 lakh crore.
RBI’s MPC hiked the repo rate by 25 basis points to 6.50% and revised the estimate of real GDP growth to 6.4% for FY 23.
