HNIs (High Net Worth Individuals) consider Mutual Funds as the best investment vehicle says the recent IIFL Wealth X report. As per the report, 1 in 5 HNIs hold more than half their wealth in Mutual Funds, 84 per cent of HNIs hold at least some part of their wealth in Mutual funds and 48 per cent of HNIs want to increase their investments in Mutual Funds over next 1 year.

India has retained the title of the World’s fastest growing Large economy, despite domestic and global pressures. With strong drivers from the service sectors and better demand conditions going forward, the CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) expects 2019 to bring robust growth to the Indian economy.

HDFC Mutual Fund has surpassed ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund to become India’s largest Asset Management Company. At the end of December, the total Assets under management of HDFC Mutual Fund had risen to Rs 3.35 lakh crores, while that of ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund stood at Rs 3.08 lakh crores. SBI, Aditya Birla Sun Life and Reliance Mutual Fund round up the top 5 AMCs in India.

1/ Yes Mutual Fund has launched the NFO for its maiden fund Yes Liquid Fund. The NFO is currently open for subscription, and will close on 16/Jan. This open-ended fund will be managed by Piyush Baranwal. With this NFO, Yes Mutual Fund has joined the list of AMCs supported on Kuvera.
