Top news
Gross tax revenue for FY22 rose by 34% to Rs 27.07 lakh crore up from Rs 20.16 lakh crore in FY21. The rise in tax receipts pushed the tax-GDP ratio to a new high of 11.7%.
Open ended equity mutual funds witnessed inflows of Rs 28,463 crore in March 2022, a substantial rise of 44% from the previous month.
SIP inflows hit an all time high of Rs 12,328 crore in March 2022. Total number of SIP folios jumped to 5.27 crore in March 2022 from 5.17 crore in February.
BSE Star MF accounted for 49% of MF industry’s net equity inflow at Rs 81,350 crore. The platform processed a record 18.47 crore transactions in FY22.
