The market was bearish this week amid mixed global cues. The large-cap indices ended each day of the week in red, with the Sensex falling by 2.02% while Nifty50 was down by 2%.
Yet another fund is set to join the roster of index funds available for mutual fund investors, with Reliance launching the NFO of Reliance Junior BeES FoF on 18/Feb. The scheme aims to replicate the performance of the Nifty Next 50 Index.

Movers and shakers at fund house:
1/ Union Mutual Fund has announced the merger of Union Asset Allocation Fund (Merging Scheme) with Union Balanced Advantage Fund (Surviving Scheme). There will be no changes in the fundamental attributes of the Union Balanced Advantage Fund (Surviving Scheme). Unit holders of Union Asset Allocation Fund who do not wish to retain their holdings in the scheme can redeem their units without any exit load between 18/Feb and 19/Mar 2019.
2/ Canara Robeco Mutual Fund has announced the change in Fund managers for Canara Robeco Capital Protection Oriented Fund – Series 10. The equity portfolio will be handled by Cheenu Gupta while the Debt portfolio will continue to be managed by Suman Prasad.
3/Reports suggest that Himanshu Vyapak, the Deputy CEO of Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management, has resigned from his post. However, Reliance AMC is yet to issue an official statement in this regard.
