Tata Consumer Products has been included into NIFTY 50 Index while YES Bank, Jubilant Foodworks, MRF, GAIL, Apollo Hospitals, Adani Enterprises and Vedanta have been included into NIFTY NEXT 50 Index.
GST collections hit a record high of Rs 1.24 lakh crore in March 2021, a rise of 27% on a Y-o-Y basis (or a rise of 27% from March 2020). This is the sixth straight month where GST revenues have remained above Rs 1 lakh crore.
FM Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the government has withdrawn its decision to cut interest rates on small savings schemes like PPF and NSC. The interest rates will continue to remain on existing rates that prevailed in the March quarter.
