SIP inflows jumped 28% on Y-o-Y basis to hit an all time high of Rs 12,693 crore in August’22 compared to inflows of Rs 9,923 crore in August’21. Total number of SIP folios jumped to 5.72 crore at August end.
WPI inflation eased to a 11-month low of 12.4% in August’22, down from 13.9% in the previous month. Meanwhile retail inflation inched up to 7% in August 2022 from 6.7% in the previous month.
IDFC MF and ICICI MF have launched the NFOs for IDFC Nifty100 Low Volatility 30 Index Fund and IPRU Nifty50 Equal Weight Index Fund. The NFOs closes on September 23 and September 28 respectively.
